The Bakersfield Police Department recovered a firearm and drugs during a search warrant Friday night. 

According to police, officers executed a search warrant in east Bakersfield at a residence near S. Haley St. and Houser St. around 11 p.m. Friday. 

During the search officers found a loaded 9mm firearm, which was stolen, along with evidence of narcotic sales. 

As a result, police arrested Clifford Givan, 40, for narcotic sales, possession of stolen property, firearm and gang related charges.
