A second California City official has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation by the Kern County District Attorney, according to the acting city manager.
Cal City Public Works Director Craig Platt was placed on leave Wednesday acting City Manager Anna Linn confirmed to 23ABC News Thursday.
The decision comes just more than a week after City Manager Robert Stockwell was placed on leave due to issues following Stockwell's performance evaluation. Linn said the decisions are not related.
Linn would not comment on the nature of the investigation into Platt, adding that it is a personnel matter.
Linn said there is no interim public works director in place at this time.
