Second person dies in Carr Fire in Northern California

Officials said a firefighter is the second person to die in the Carr Fire raging in Northern California.

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said Friday a firefighter with the Redding Fire Department was killed in fighting the fire in Shasta County. The cause of the death is currently under investigation.

On Thursday, the blaze killed a bulldozer operator as he worked to try to contain the flames.
