The first heat wave of the calendar year will impact Central California Tuesday through Thursday. We will be seeing those triple digits! Near record heat is expected Tuesday and Wednesday.

As for Sunday, air quality will be in the moderate range, with an AQI of 93. A warming trend will also start Sunday. Temperatures will be around 5 degrees above average for this time of year.

Later in the week, we will have details on an excessive heat advisory. Seeing those record high triple digits from Tuesday through Thursday. Highs will be 10-18 degrees above average for this time of year.

Cooling back down into the low 90’s by next Saturday.
