The California Highway Patrol is working a collision between a big rig and a car on Highway 166 that injured one person Friday morning.

According to the CHP, the vehicles collided at about 6 a.m. on Highway 166 and Basic School Road. 

One person in the car suffered moderate injuries and four others only had minor injuries. The driver of the big rig had only minor injuries after the truck ended up in a ditch.

Traffic in the area is slow as cleanup the scene.
