Traffic is backing up on northbound Highway 99 near Lerdo Highway following a big rig crash Friday morning. 

According to the California Highway Patrol a big rig crashed just after 5 a.m. The driver sustained only minor injuries.

The CHP says at least one lane of the 99 is backed up.
