A sugar truck and a car crashed around 4 p.m. Thursday on southbound I-5 near Copus Road, according to CHP.
The accident happened just north of the I-5/ Highway 99 split. A grass fire started as a result of the crash, CHP said.
Crews are en route and will have updates soon.
