A turning point for police reform Tuesday in response to the mass demonstrations across the country.

Tuesday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing will draw testimony from civil rights and law enforcement leaders. The focus will be on police use of force and community relations.

The hearing will help determine changes to policing as Senate Republicans prepare a package that Democrats are pushing for more on.

Right now the Republican proposal includes things like new restrictions on police chokehold and better use of body cameras.
