BAKERSFIELD, Calif — State Senator Melissa Hurtado says she wants to hear from the community. She's asking for residents of District 14, which includes parts of Kern county, to submit budget proposals or other legislative ideas.
Her team will then go through them and present them to state legislature. The entry for even includes questions that are usually asked during the legislation process to help people form their arguments.
It's recommended that the ideas are submitted by January 19, 2021. The form is available at the link here.
