TEHACHAPI, Calif. — Millions of Californian's found themselves without power in 2019 due to the implementation of Public Safety Power Shutoffs, including residents of Tehachapi.
Senate Republican Leader Shannon Grove of Bakersfield wants to address those power shutoffs and hear what Tehachapi residents have to say. On Friday, Grove will be holding a town hall to give residents of California's 16th Senate District the opportunity to voice their concerns.
Along with Senator Grove, Tehachapi Mayor Susan Wiggins, the Kern County Fire Department, the Kern County Sheriff's Office, and Southern California Edison will be in attendance.
The town hall is happening at the Slice of Life Enrichment School auditorium from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
