Services have been scheduled for fallen Porterville firefighter Patrick Jones.
On Tuesday morning, the Porterville Fire Department posted an obituary on Facebook, saying a service for Jones will be held Thursday at Tulare Methodist Church at 10 a.m.
His obituary read in part, "When it came to firefighting, Patrick was relentless. He attended numerous trainings and received several certifications following his acceptance of a position with the Porterville City Fire Department. He wanted to be the best he possibly could be to support his brothers - he never wanted to let them down."
Jones and Porterville Fire Captain Ramon Figueroa were killed in a fire on Feb. 18 at the Porterville Library.
A joint memorial service will be held in honor of the two in Porterville.
