Services are scheduled Monday for fallen Porterville Fire Captain Ramon "Ray" Figueroa.

Figueroa, along with Porterville firefighter Patrick Jones, were killed in the line of duty while battling a fire at the Porterville Library.

On Monday, a visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. at the St. Mary's of The Miraculous Medal Parish at 916 Lexington Street in Delano. A rosary will be held starting at 6 p.m.

A funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday at St. Mary's starting at 10 a.m. Following the mass, Figueroa will be laid to rest at North Kern Cemetery District at 627 Austin St. in Delano.

In a Facebook post, the Porterville Fire Department says public service members and the community are welcome to the attend the ceremonies.

A joint memorial service is scheduled for both Figueroa and Jones on Friday at the Porterville Church of the Nazarene at 2005 W. Olive in Porterville. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m.
