Several downtown streets to be closed off for Cruizin' Shine car show

The third annual Cruizin' Shine car show is scheduled to take place Saturday in the Downtown Bakersfield area and will it impact multiple streets.

The Bakersfield Police Department released all the streets that will be closed off for the car show. The following streets will be shut down from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

22nd Street from Eye to K streets
21st Street from Eye to K streets
20th Street from Eye to K streets
19th Street from Eye to K streets
18th Street from Eye to K streets
17th Street from Eye to K streets
Chester Avenue from 23rd to Truxtun

From 7-9 a.m., participants will be able to take pictures in front of the Fox Theater. During that time the following streets will be closed off:

21st Street from G to L streets
20th Street from G to L streets
19th Street from G to L streets
H Street from 22nd St. to Wall Street Alley
Eye Street from 22nd St. to Wall Street Alley

From 4-8 p.m., a cruise will be taking place. The following streets will be closed off:

19th Street from G to M streets
18th Street from Eye to M streets
K Street from 20th to 17th streets
L Street from 20th to 17th streets
