BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — This Saturday, a Sikh Peace Parade will be held in the downtown area which is causing Bakersfield Police to close down several roads between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The parade begins in the area of 500 19th Street and will head westbound to L Street before turning southbound to 18th Street.
Officers will be closing off roadways in the path of the pursuit starting at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Bakersfield Police encourage those visiting or traveling to downtown to use a different route to avoid delays.
