Shafter 99 closed due to rodent droppings around food items

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Shafter 99 has been closed by the Kern Public Health Department due to multiple health code violations including rodent droppings on shelves containing food items.

Other violations include an observed bag of candy with rat droppings and the operator admitting to not have routine pest control.
