BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Making Christmas a fun experience for the whole family is the goal of the Shafter Christmas Store as they ask for your help in meeting their toy donation goal.

For several years, the Shafter Christmas Store has collected brand new toys right before Christmas and takes those toys to host a one-day shopping event for parents invited from the Richland School District.

There are different ways you can help!

To be entered to win a $25 gift card, drop off a toy at one of the public drop off locations and take a photo of yourself dropping off the toy and tag them, send it in a message or email it to shafterchristmasstore@gmail.com.
Here are locations you can drop-off the toys:

  • Tin Cup Coffee
  • Mission Bank
  • Shafter Recreation and Park District
  • City Hall City of Shafter
  • Shafter Learning Center
  • Richland Chevrolet
  • Minter Field Airport District

You can also purchase a toy online. Send the store a copy of your receipt to the gmail listed above. You can use their Amazon wishlists or purchase from your preferred online retailer.
