Shafter police are searching for hit and run subject Jose De Jesus Godoy Guitron.
Guitron struck a Hispanic female adult victim Sunday near 700 S. Shafter Avenue and fled the scene. The victim was taken to Kern Medical where she died.
Guitron is wanted for vehicular manslaughter. Police are asking for assistance in locating him.
