Authorities say two murder suspects who escaped from a California jail have been arrested by federal officials.

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office says in a tweet 20-year-old Jonathan Salazar and 21-year-old Santos Fonseca were arrested by Customs and Border Protection officials.

It says it will have more information at a news conference later Wednesday morning.
