A car slammed into a 98 Cent Store in Northwest Bakersfield on Saturday.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatchers website, a car crashed into the store just after 8 a.m. 

It happened near Victor St. & Olive Dr. Initial reports show that the driver's brakes got stuck when she tried to stop. 

23ABC has obtained surveillance video of the crash and as you can see in the  video, a green four-door vehicle driven by a woman appears to head for a parking space but instead drives straight into the store, shattering the business' windows.

The driver allegedly told officers that her brake was stuck and she hit the building.

It's is unknown if the woman was taken into custody or if drugs or alcohol were a factor.
