BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County Sheriff's Office officials said a man was shot and killed in East Bakersfield Saturday morning.

According to KCSO, deputies responded to a shots fired call at 10:10 a.m., upon arrival officials said they found one man dead in the 500 block of Denison Lane. Officials are investigating this shooting as a homicide as of now.

At this time there is no suspect information available at this time.
