BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A shooting in Oildale injured one man shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday evening.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Oildale Drive and Decatur Street for reports of a shooting, but did not locate a suspect or victim were not found at the scene.

KCSO said a Good Samaritan transported the victim to his girlfriend's house. From there, the victim was transported to the hospital for his non-life threatening injuries.
