BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officials say a shooting in Southwest Bakersfield injured one man Saturday night.

The Bakersfield Police Department said the shooting occurred near Wilson Road and Chandler Court at 8:56 p.m.

The victim is being treated for minor injuries, according to BPD.

Officials said the shooting may have been a drive-by style shooting.

A heavy police presence is on scene investigating.
