BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — One man is in critical condition following a shooting in Wasco Saturday evening.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a shooting at the 1000 block of 16th Street at about 9 p.m., where they would find a victim of multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was airlifted to a hospital where he remains in critical condition, KCSO confirms.
