Shooting left one dead in McFarland

On November 16, just after 4:33 p.m., McFarland Police Officers were dispatched near 100 West Perkins Avenue regarding a shooting that had just occurred. When officers arrived on scene, they located a male victim.

After investigating, officers determined that the man had suffered a gunshot wound. He was then air lifted to a local hospital.

Shortly after arriving to the hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries and passed away. At this time, his identity has not been released. There is also no suspect information at this time. 

According to police, the vehicle of interest is described as a white Chevrolet, 4-door vehicle.
