BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Saturday, March 9th, the Bakersfield Police department participated in a statewide sting operation throughout California.

The "Shoulder Tap" program involves several law enforcement agencies and is funded through a grant awarded by the 2018-2019 ABC Alcohol Policing Partnership Program. The goal of the program is to bring awareness to underage drinking, reduce youth access to alcohol and decrease driving under the influence related traffic collisions.
