BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Ghuman Law Firm is sponsoring two days of Langar, a Sikh tenet that serves free meals to all the visitors, regardless of religion or background.
The event will be held at Mill Creek Park. Members of the Sikh Community will set up an outdoor kitchen in the park near 19th Street, serving food from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day until the Sikh Peace Parade on April 13.
Ghuman Law Firm says it is hosting the event for the community in order to encourage dialogue and understanding in our communities.
