A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 79-year-old man out of Lancaster.
The California Highway Patrol issued the Silver Alert on Thursday morning on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office.
The Silver Alert is for Los Angeles and Kern counties.
The CHP says Parviz Sistani is 5-foot-3, 175 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.

He was last seen at about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday in Lancaster.
He was last seen wearing a gray and black plaid shirt and blue jeans.
CHP says Sistani suffers from a medical condition and could be come disoriented.
Anyone who sees Sistani is asked to call 9-1-1.
