BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Crews are repairing a sink hole on Haley Street between Grace and Jefferson in East Bakersfield.

According to Cal Water, a leak formed which created a sink hole. Cal Water has since located the link and are in the process of repairing. They had to reduce water pressure to locate the leak, which could impact customers in the neighborhood but have not turned water off.

The leak is not impacting the quality of drinking water.

As of right now, now lane is shut down, but it is not impeding traffic. Repairs should be finished in the next 6 hours.
