Not even a pandemic could keep Santa Claus from making sure the Head Start students attending the Harvey L. Hall Child Development Center received a Christmas present this year.
This morning, Siren the Rescue Dog along with some Hall Ambulance helpers, delivered more than 75 wrapped Christmas presents to the children.
For the past four years, Hall Ambulance arranged for Santa, accompanied by Siren the Rescue Dog, to visit each classroom to deliver a wrapped present to each child with their name on it. Later that evening, the students would return with their family members to enjoy holiday refreshments and family pictures with Santa.
When this year’s event had to be canceled due to COVID-19, Siren the Rescue Dog messaged the North Pole and arranged for Santa to send toys for special delivery.
With just a few days left until Christmas, Santa called on Siren the Rescue Dog and Hall Ambulance to get the gifts to the children in time for Christmas.
