BAKERSFIELD, Calif — California Highway Patrol officers have identified the six-year-old boy who died in a crash on Friday in Shafter.

Jaden Jimenez was a passenger of a vehicle that left the roadway and crashed, according to officials.

He was taken to Kern Medical where he later succumbed to his injuries.
