Temperatures dropped by almost 10 degrees once the storm passed.

PG&E reported just before 10 p.m. that 20 different outages in Bakersfield left nearly 2,000 customers without power.

PG&E updated that number around 10:45 p.m. from 20 outages to 23, but the number of people dropped just under 1,400 affected customers.
