Small Business Saturday is now in it's eighth year nationwide and Bakersfield shops are getting ready for the big event this weekend on Saturday November 25, 2017. Below are a few events happening around town for Small Business Saturday.
Champagne & Shopping:
-9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
-Press Conference begins at 9:00 a.m. at Fallgatter Rhodes Insurance located at 1701 G. St. Bakersfield, CA 93301.
-Brunch will follow after the conference at the Padre Hotel located at 1702 18th St. Bakersfield, CA
-Brunch will cost $20. Shopping will follow with participating stores in the downtown area.
-$35 includes brunch as well as a passport to the shopping event.
-The event will also have a free shuttle service by "Think Green Pedicabs".
-With every $10 purchase at the event, you will be provided with a coupon to enter a drawing at The Marriott Hotel. The prize drawing will be held at 4:00 p.m.
Christmas Tree Lot Opens:
-The 2017 Christmas Tree Lot will be opening on Saturday, November 25, 2017 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
-The Christmas Tree lot is located at 300 Morning Dr., Bakersfield, CA 93306.
Boutique Spoiled Rotten:
- Boutique Spoiled Rotten is hosting a special event in honor of Small Business Saturday on November 25, 2017.
-They will have drinks, snacks, and a chance to win some Boutique Spoiled Rotten cash.
Shopping Event in Northwest Bakersfield:
-The shopping event will have LulaRoe, Scensty, Usborne Books, several handmade crafters and more!
-The event will go from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 3825 Riverlakes Dr., Bakersfield, CA 93312
Shopping Event at Mariscos El Sinaloense:
-Event begins at 10:00 a.m.
-Free entry
-Free raffles and $5 holiday kids portraits

Small Business Saturday at The Marketplace:
-The Marketplace is hosting a Small Business Saturday event on November 25, 2017 between 11:00 a.m and 1:00 p.m.
-The Marketplace will be giving away free marketplace tote bags, exclusive offers, and more while supplies last.
-Check-in is required at the welcome table near Santa's Photo Shoppe
