A small vegetation fire is burning in Bear Valley Springs at Medicine Bow Court and Deertrail Drive.

The first crews to arrive on the scene of the Medicine Fire reported a 1/2 acre fire spreading slowly.

The area is of high concern due to severe tree mortality.
