In honor of National Pet Adoption Day on Thursday, a local shaved ice shop is hosting a fundraiser to support a pet rescue organization. 

The owners of Sno Shack will be holding the fundraiser on May 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at all 10 locations.

The main location on Rosedale Highway will feature pets available for adoption and have information about Pet Matchmaker Rescue. 

All proceeds on Thursday will be donated.
