While Bakersfield got into the lower 70's on Sunday, some spots in Kern County actually saw a winter wonderland!

Locations like Pine Mountain Club, Lake of the Woods, and Frazier Park all saw snow Saturday evening into Sunday!  This snow was all due to the low pressure system that came in Saturday that brought the rain and clouds.  It also brought colder temperatures and even below freezing temperatures in the mountains.

This is why some areas received the snowfall between 5000 and 6000 feet.  We actually had 4-6 inches of snow in some spots and even higher elevations recorded 7 inches of snow!  23ABC's Adam Bowles actually went to Pine Mountain Club on Sunday and recorded a Facebook live of his adventure! You can look at his pictures and videos on our newscasts tonight at 6 and 11!
