A 23ABC viewer submitted this video which appears to show someone dressed as a clown walking around The Marketplace in southwest Bakersfield.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department there have been several sighting of people in clown costumes walking around in the Rosedale area. However, officials point out it is not illegal to dress as a clown. 

Police said there have been no reports of clowns who were sighted doing anything other than walking around.
