The Kern Environmental Education Program (Camp KEEP) received a $13,668 gift from Sparkling Image Car Wash on Tuesday.
The business donated half its profits from September 16 sales, which was the date of the seventh annual fundraiser for Camp KEEP, to the program. This is nearly $2,000 more than last year.

Funds raised will be used to help send students with financial needs to Camp KEEP.
Camp KEEP is a five-day residential environmental education program ont eh central coast for Kern County's fifth and sixth grade students. The program is operated by the Kern County Superintendent of Schools.
