The Kern County Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting to discuss U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in Kern County.
The California Transparent Review of Unjust Transfers and Holds Act or better known as the TRUTH Act mandates that governments where law enforcement grants ICE access to an individual hold a community forum at least once a year.
The forum will provide information on the access granted to ICE and will allow the public to comment.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday night in the Supervisors chambers on Truxtun Ave.
