Cal City Police advised residents in the area of Karen Avenue to stay inside as they responded to reports of a stabbing earlier this evening.

The suspect was reported to have been hiding in a residence at the time. Officers made entry into one of the homes but they could not locate the suspect.

The victim had non life-threatening injuries.

Officials told 23ABC that they will be sending out more information shortly.
