Earlier on the morning of December 14, Standard Middle School was placed on lockdown due to reports of a man with a gun outside the school.
The district office was also placed on lockdown.
The Kern County Sheriff's office arrested a man outside the school, but he didn't have a gun.
The incident lasted 10 minutes.
