Motorists traveling on State Route 178 next week should anticipate traffic control being in place between Valley Street and Alfred Harrell Highway, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The contractor for the State Route 178 Widening project plans to conduct grinding and striping work in this area and motorists may be stopped to allow for traffic shifts during the operations.

Delays are expected to be less than 10 minutes, but motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes or allow extra time to reach their destinations.
