Drivers on State Route 178 will experience delays this week as pavement and drainage work will close portions of the road.
The work will cause around 15 minute delays for commuters from Masterson Street to Alfred Harrell Highway.
Monday's work will include spot repairs to the roadway in a variety of locations. Traffic control will be in place between 8 AM and 6 PM.
Tuesday will feature drainage operations between 8 AM and 4 PM.
Paving operations will resume Wednesday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Flagging personnel will stop traffic and use one-way traffic control during those times.
Drivers are advised to allow sufficient time to reach their destination or use an alternate route.
The road work is part of a widening project of the State Route 178.
