SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Tony Thurmond, state superintendent of public instruction, today will issue a call to action in a news conference held at 10:30 a.m.
There are several ways to watch this conference including Zoom and a live stream held on the California Department of Education Facebook page.
During the conference, Thurmond will announce plans to lead conversations about race.
There will be a Q&A held following the conference.
