Tuesday morning, Stinson's celebrated its 70th anniversary by giving back to the community. 

As part of their celebration, Stinson's awarded 95 $1,000 grants to local non-profit organizations. 

The company's owner, Ben Stinson, along with current employees and nearly 100 local charities gathered at Stinson's Distribution Center for a Community Giving Breakfast. 

Stinson tells 23ABC that the initial idea was to award 70 grants to commemorate 70 years in business but due to an overwhelming response from local applicants, that number quickly grew to more than 90. 

Charities will receive a credit for $1,000 to spend on anything in Stinson's inventory which include office products, printers, furniture, and school supllies.
