BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Stockdale High School received the Milo Hall Award as they won 39th annual Kern County Academic Decathlon Saturday.
Nearly 200 students from fourteen local high schools participated in the decathlon, according to a Kern County Superintendent of Schools press release.
Each school had up to 9 students in a team, who displayed their knowledge in 10 different events with different subject matters, including art, math, economics, language and literature.
Stockdale High School won the tournament and will represent Kern County in the California Academic Decathlon in Sacramento next month, according to the release.
Frontier High School took second, Arvin took third, and Bakersfield High School took fourth.
