The Stockdale High School symphonic orchestra was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York April of 2018 as part of their International Music Festival.

Stockdale High School's symphony orchestra is made up of 107 students in grades 9 through 12, all under the direction of John Biller.

The students will be traveling to New York City on April 21, 2018 though April 25, 2018. The students will not only be performing at Carnegie Hall, but will also be having an outdoor performance in Central Park, attend a Broadway musical, and will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Hudson River. Sightseeing of New York landmarks is also on the list of things to do for the students.

The once in a lifetime opportunity for the orchestra students will cost each one $2,500, however the orchestra parent committee is working to organize different funding activities to make this experience possible for every student.
