BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — This month, the Stockdale Post Office is hosting a passport fair to make it easier for Bakersfield- area residents to get a U.S. Passport.

The upcoming event is expected to have extra staff on hand to assist residents with $15 passport photos and applications.

USPS says that if you're planning to attend the passport fair they recommend customers fill out forms ahead of time.

Applications and information can be found here.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 5501 Stockdale Hwy.

To apply for a passport, applicants will need to bring:
