Stolen firearm found during probation search in Arvin, three arrested

ARVIN, Calif. — Three individuals were arrested in Arvin on Friday after officers with the Kern County Probation Department Gang Intervention and Suppression Team located a stolen handgun during a probation search.

Officers conducted the search in the area of 400 Holden Street in Arvin and upon entering the property contacted multiple individuals including David Reyes, 29, Oscar Partida Jr., 20 and Breanna White, 20.

During the investigation, officers found a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun which was stolen from a city in Texas. Reyes, Partida Jr. and White were all arrested for firearm, drug possession and gang related charges.
