A trailer packed up with a family's belongings went missing on Thanksgiving. When it was recovered by Kern County Sheriff's, it turned up as empty.
Jacob and Camilla Cox are new to Bakersfield and stored almost all of their belongings in their 20-foot trailer as they were settling into their apartment, which was already furnished. The trailer was parked at Jacob's work, Matrix Service.
On Thanksgiving they found out that their trailer has been stolen. By Sunday evening, authorities had located it. When the Cox family went to retrieve it Monday evening, the trailer was empty.
