BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The strong winds across Kern County are having an impact on Meadows Field Airport today.

Officials tell 23ABC that due to low visibility, an inbound flight from Phoenix to Meadows was diverted to Ontario, California. American Airlines also says visibility was a factor for an outbound plane and those passengers were shuttled to Los Angeles.

Those were the only two flights impacted in Kern County.
